Our Mission
QRmesa exists to make restaurant payments invisible. We believe the checkout experience should take seconds, not minutes. Guests should walk out smiling, not frustrated. And restaurant staff should spend their time on hospitality, not card processing.
We built QRmesa because we saw a gap between what modern diners expect and what most restaurants can deliver. Guests carry phones that can pay for anything instantly — yet at restaurants, they still wait for a paper check and a card reader. That disconnect is our opportunity.
How It Started
QRmesa started at a crowded restaurant on a Friday night. Our founder watched a table of eight spend 20 minutes trying to split a bill and flag down a server for the card reader. Everyone at the table had a phone that could send money instantly — but the restaurant had no way to accept it.
That night, we started prototyping. Within weeks, we had a working QR code payment flow. We tested it at a local Italian restaurant in Austin, TX. The owner, Maria, told us her servers were saving 12 minutes per table. We knew we were onto something.
Today, QRmesa powers payments across restaurants of every size — from single-location cafes to multi-unit restaurant groups. We integrate directly with Clover and Square, so restaurant owners can start accepting QR payments without changing their POS or their workflow.
